Dr. Marcelle Dias-Appelblatt is a veterinarian with over 15 years of experience in South Florida. She was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University and her veterinary degree from UFF in Brazil. She became licensed in the USA through the ECFVG program in 2009. Dr. Dias-Appelblatt is a passionate veterinarian who is committed to providing the highest quality care for dogs and cats of all age’s. From preventive care, to diagnosing and treating illnesses and performing surgeries, she loves it all.

Both puppies and kittens should see a veterinarian within the first week of coming home. Before this appointment, you should provide your Urban Pawz Animal Clinic team with any medical records. In the first appointment, the veterinarian will assess your pet and determine what necessary vaccines and treatments your new addition may require.

Yes, multiple vaccines can be safely administered during one visit to reduce stress and ensure protection.

Bring their favorite treat or toy to keep them calm and comfortable. Let us know if your pet does best at the vet with pre-visit pharmaceuticals.  Most importantly, let us know if your pet has any history of vaccine reactions.
